The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience.

Alan Foster
Dr. Alan Foster is part of a Blue Springs tradition of dental comfort and care.  Dr. Foster is a 1978 graduate of the Creighton University School of Dentistry and has dedicated his career to providing you with the best dentistry has to offer.  He is continually educating himself and his staff on the latest techniques and approaches in order to provide you and your family with advanced, state-of-the-art, comfortable, personalized and antiseptic dental care.

In his continuing education, Dr. Foster has completed courses in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, crown and bridge treatment, root canal therapy and anesthesia.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Society and the University Study Club

All our professionals at Foster Dental Care maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in cosmetic dentistry.

Michelle-- Registered Dental Hygienist
Michelle graduated in 1999 from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.  She has been with Dr. Foster since September of 1999, working full time until she started her family and has since then been working part time.  She has gone through several continuing education classes with Dr. Foster to increase her skills in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease.  She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association, the Missouri Dental Hygienist Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Hygiene Association.  Michelle grew up in northwest Iowa and enjoys making trips there to visit her family with her children and husband, whom she was set up with on a blind date by Dr. Foster!

Dolly-- Registered Dental Hygienist

Dolly is a graduate of Wichita State University, College of Health Related Professions, with a Bachelor of Health Science in Dental Hygiene.  She began her hygiene career in Wichita, Kansas, working full time for 18 years with Dr. Mac Foley until her near fatal car accident in 2001.  Refusing fusion surgery for her C-2 “Hangman's” neck fracture, Dolly spent 3 years rehabilitating.  Her husbands' job transfer may have brought her to the Blue Springs area; however, the love of the patients was the deciding factor in her professional “part-time” return.  She began with Dr. Foster in March 2004 and her neck friendly schedule is Monday and Wednesday.

Pamela-- Registered Dental Hygienist
Pamela began her career in dentistry in 1995 as a chair side assistant increasing knowledge and certification.  Interested in expanding her dental scope she enrolled and graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene.  She began working full time with Dr. Foster in June of 2005.  She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association, the Missouri Dental Hygienist Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Hygienist Association.  She continues to strive for excellence and professionalism in the field, and looks forward to the continued care of both the patients and the community.  Pamela resides in Blue Springs and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. 

Staci--Patient Coordinator
Staci has lived in the Kansas City area her entire life.  She began her dental assisting career in 1990 and joined our team in 1997 as a dental assistant. In 2009, Staci became the Patient Coordinator. Staci goes out of her way to make our patients feel comfortable and at ease.  Her kind words and caring smile make patients feel at home in our office.



Robin--Financial Coordinator
Robin joined Dr. Foster and his staff in 2001 as the Hygiene Coordinator.  She then expanded her duties by assisting Dr. Foster and the hygiene department.  She is currently working at the front office as the Financial Coordinator. She started in the dentistry field in 1992.  She was raised and now lives in the Blue Springs area.  She and her husband enjoy spending time with their family and friends.

Desiree--Dental Assistant

Desiree has been working as a dental assistant since 2003 and joined the Foster Dental Care team in 2006. Desiree has lived in Blue Springs most of her life and now lives in Odessa, MO with her husband and two children.

Lindsey - Dental Assistant

Lindsey began her career in dentistry and became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2001. She joined the Foster Dental Care team in 2009 as an expanded function dental assistant. Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family.

Kara - Hygiene Coordinator

Kara has loved dentistry since she was a child. She even used to collect her teeth! Kara joined our team in 2009 as the Hygiene Coordinator. Currently, she is pursuing her education to qualify for hygiene school in order to achieve her dream of becoming a hygienist. Kara enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ashley - Scheduling Coordinator

When you call or visit our office, Ashley will be the first person to greet you. She enjoys ensuring patients are comfortable and happy with their experience at our office. She joined our team in 2009. Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
